* About the Game *
Star Stable Online or SSO for short is considered a "Massive Multi-Player Online Role-playing Game (MMORPG)" created by the Swedish company located in Stockholm; Star Stable Entertainment AB formerly World of Horsecraft AB (WOH). SSO was released to the public in 2012. That name sound familiar maybe? They are also responsible for such games as Star Shine Legacy, Star Academy and the Star Stable series before they went on to create the game we all love so much Star Stable Online. SSO has many different game servers in many languages including.. English, German, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian and French. It was designed to grow over time by having new game content added every week and game updates happen every Wednesday.
* Game Rules *
There are Rules for the game which we must all try our best to abide by. If you break one of the rules it could have some very serious consequences. You could get time out from the game or even be banned from playing. Which means you can no longer play. Even though SSO does not have full time moderators to monitor player behavior other players can and will report you if you continue to be a rule breaker. So do try to remember that if you do not wish to get in trouble or run the risk of loosing all that you have worked and paid for on your game know what these rules are.
All the information you need to know about the game rules on SSO are provided for you and by creating an account there you have agreed to abide by them regardless to whether or not you took the time to read through them. If you get in trouble on the game "I didn't know." is not an excuse and will not get you out of trouble. I advise everyone to read the Terms of Service which is also called Terms and Conditions, this is the agreement you made with SSO and includes all the rules, guidelines, "fine print" and is absolutely Need To Know Information.

* Player Etiquette *
As with all multi-player online games there are certain things that are collectively considered rude by the players who have been playing for a while, which has earned the term Player Etiquette. For those who aren't familiar with that word Etiquette it is like a code of conduct for social behavior. By being polite and remembering a little bit of etiquette everyone can have a better and happier online experience that is a lot more fun for everyone with much less drama.
Things players on SSO consider Rude:
* Repeated Random Friend Requests * - Sometimes friend requests don't work the first time.....so if you send the request over two times you might just be bugging that person. Some players don't like adding people they don't really know or have never talked to. So even though someone didn't add you as a friend don't take it personal.
* Standing on top of/ or Blocking a NPC *- Please don't make it impossible for others who may be trying to do a quest to click on a character by standing directly on top of the character. There is absolutely no need to stand on them. One easy solution, if you do run into people that insist on blocking the NPC's and making it difficult to impossible to click on them, just click on the player and ignore them and they disappear so you can continue with what you are doing. I usually clear out my ignore list afterward.
* Don't Dance on Other Players at the Disco * - Please be respectful of other people's virtual personal space. If the person asks you to move be courteous and pick another spot on the dance floor. If you did not know they were there tell them and pick another place to dance. If you find someone dancing on you simply ask them nicely to give you some space if they refuse, either pick a new spot or put the player on ignore.
* Excessive Chat Spam * - Spam is generally where someone types the same thing multiple times over and over again. For most people it is seriously annoying because it floods the chat box and makes it hard to read. SSO considers this behaviour unacceptable and you can be reported for it which may just land you in trouble. See the Terms & Conditions above to see other types of spam that SSO does not allow.
* Don't Demand other Players to Help You * - This is seriously rude. Don't walk up to someone you don't know and tell them they have to help you with something. Ask them politely! If they say no; respect that. They might be busy with something and not have the time then to help you. There are many players who don't mind and enjoy helping others, but treating them like they have to drop everything to work on your problems makes them less willing to help out in the future. None of the other players are obligated to help you. So be nice.
